Corcovado
Day 3

Today you visit the Isla Caño Nature Reserve. An early morning start for the 1-hour journey by boat to this uninhabited Pacific island.

Following your arrival your guide takes you to the archaeological site on the islands central plateau. Here, scientists found grave artefacts, decorative items like the mysterious perfectly spherical granite balls, a testimony to a bygone Indian culture. During your visit you are aware of the striking vegetational difference between the mainland and that of the island.

At noon you can enjoy a beach picnic.

Finally you have enough time to swim in the warm sea (do not forget bathing suits!), to sunbath or to just stroll along the beautiful sandy beach.

For the active, snorkelling in the crystal clear water around the coral reef (snorkelling equipment is provided at an additional cost). In the late afternoon we leave this island paradise the return trip to your lodge and maybe, with a little luck, get to see Dolphins swimming in the wild.
